1. Rams building comfortable NFC West lead

Rightfully so, the Rams were considered the early favorites to win the NFC West when compared to the other three teams since many believe McVay’s squad is capable of making a serious run at the Super Bowl. And when seeing how well great this team has looked from an overall perspective through the first three games, it’s easy to see why this is the case.

It’s only been three games, but it’s going to be difficult for opponents to come through on the winning end when facing the Rams after seeing how easy it seems for them to put up points on a weekly basis. At 3-0, the Rams appear to already be running away with the division, and while there is still plenty of football remaining to be played, McVay has to be pleased with the early lead in the division.

Between the San Francisco 49ers losing Jimmy Garoppolo for the season along with the struggles for the most part behind the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals, the Rams have a pretty comfortable lead heading into Week 4. Even if the Rams end up on the losing end of Thursday’s game against the Vikings, the team will still be in amazing shape when it comes to sitting on top of the NFC West heading into October.
