It’s only Week 4, but the Los Angeles Rams have an opportunity to serve notice to not just the NFC West or the NFC as a whole, but to the entirety of the National Football League.

Are the Rams for real? Well, the short answer is yes.

The Vikings are a Week 4 opponent who has the task of going to Los Angeles and playing a team who seems few on flaws, and overflowing with bonafide talent. It’ll be Minnesota who has the burden of playing above their head to keep pace with the Rams.

Quarterback Kirk Cousins will get a second shot at his former offensive coordinator in Sean McVay. Then again, it’s another chance McVay and the Rams get at Cousins. After all, it was Cousins and his then team the Washington Redskins, who beat the Rams in Week 2 of the 2017 season.

That was then, and this is now.

The Rams are likely the overall better team come Sunday. Even without Marcus Peters (questionable on Thursday) ,Aqib TalibPharoh Cooper, and kicker Greg Zuerlein, Los Angeles is more talented top to bottom.

It’s also another week for quarterback Jared Goff to show he’s finally coming into his own as a legitimate NFL franchise quarterback. A win against a second team picked to be a potential Super Bowl team puts LA in a rare stratosphere.

Closing out September strong and 4-0 is significant. Especially with an even more challenging October on deck.
