Minnesota quarterback Kirk Cousins will have a tall order in Week 4. The big ticket free agent the Vikings have hitched their wagon to heads to Los Angeles for a huge NFC game against the Rams. The winner likely emerges as the top dog in the conference, though even a Rams loss would seem only like a speed bump.

Cousins will need a big game on Sunday. Fans of the Washington Redskins will tell you Cousins was incapable of the big games while in DC, yet his price tag this past offseason says differently.

For the record, 2017 saw the Vikings QB get the better of McVay in his first season in Los Angeles. It’s not likely to have much bearing on Sunday, but Cousins knows it’s games like this that is the reason Minnesota signed him. A loss hurts that, so know a big effort is coming. Problem is, that may not be enough.

The Rams defense, even without Peters and Talib, is still formidable, and even if Cousins begins to find the end zone, Los Angeles is back to scoring pretty much at will, meaning a shootout likely favors the Rams.

Like I said, it’s a tall order for Cousins and and the Vikings.
