1. Career days for Goff, Kupp

Thank goodness the Rams decided to trade up for Goff in the 2016 NFL Draft when they did since he’s turning out to be the franchise quarterback the organization spent years searching for, and if all continues to go well, he could be in the MVP conversation when the time comes. Less than a week after putting together a strong outing against the Los Angeles Chargers, Goff picked up right where he left off during Thursday’s win over the Vikings.

Not only was Goff torching Minnesota’s defense in the first half with four touchdown passes, but seeing him finish the game with 465 passing yards to go along with his five touchdowns shows how special of a player he really is. Many questioned before last season if Los Angeles was making the right decision by sticking with Goff, but night’s like Thursday show he was one of the best things to ever happen to this offense.

It’s scary to think about how quickly of an impact Goff has made in McVay’s offense in just two short seasons, as he’s only going to continue getting better with experience. And when seeing how Goff has other players like Cooper Kupp, who had a carer night as well with nine catches for 162 yards with two scores, to rely on at receiver, it’s only to make this offense of the Rams that much more dangerous.
