The Los Angeles Rams headline a big Week 5 in the NFC West as they face the Seahawks in Seattle, and the 49ers host the 0-4 Cardinals.

The Los Angeles Rams hit Week 5 as a road favorite against their NFC West rival Seattle Seahawks. Meanwhile, the winless Arizona Cardinals travel to the Bay Area to play a 1-3 San Francisco 49ers.

Yep, it’s a family affair this weekend in the division as significant distance can be established between the Rams and everybody else.

Los Angeles, 4-0 on the season and 1-0 in the NFC West, has a huge opportunity to solidify its lead in the division and its growing status in the NFL. The Rams, who have few flaws are playing at a level that only leaves heads shaking in their wake.

That’s not necessarily the same deal with the Seahawks, 49ers, and Cardinals. Seattle, perhaps in the best position to keep things respectable is 2-2, but are getting an LA team firing on all cylinders. It’s not that an upset couldn’t happen, it’s just that the likelihood is small, even as the home team.

As for the Cardinals and Niners, it’s a battle of who can stay out of the cellar. A win for Arizona gets them in the win column, while for San Francisco, a ‘W’ keeps them treading water.

Week 5 will set the table in the NFC West, as LA looks to maintain a stranglehold on the division.
