The Los Angeles Rams run their 2018 NFL record to 6-0 with at 23-20 win against the Denver Broncos.

The Los Angeles Rams beat the Denver Broncos 23-20 as running back Todd Gurley has a monster day, and LA remains unbeaten moving to 6-0.

Snow may not have been a factor, and the cold weather doesn’t seem to have been either. Rams head coach Sean McVay has quarterback Jared Goff going to the air early. While LA was able to advance the ball down the field, the end zone was hard to get into as they’d settle for field goals early on.

Gurley was clearly the star of the game, and is making a likely push toward postseason NFL honors. The Rams running back had a solid day. Rushing for 208 yards on 28 carries and scoring two touchdowns.

As for Goff, he had an average day but he wasn’t a liability either. He didn’t find the endzone, but he did throw an interception, finishing 14 of 28 for 201 yards.

If Broncos quarterback Case Keenum was looking for a moral victory he’d get one as he was better than the guy who ultimately replaced him in Los Angeles. Keenum would finish with 25 completions on 41 attempt for 322 yards, two touchdowns and one interceptions.

Bottom line Keenum had better stats on Sunday, but Goff has the better supporting cast.

The Rams are 6-0 for the first time since 2001. And with a Week 7 trip to a bad San Francisco 49ers team, 7-0 may not be a tough get.

Not so fast.

Since returning to Los Angeles, the Rams are 1-3 against their California rival. But things are different from 2016 and 2017.

Los Angeles is head and shoulders better than the majority of teams in the National Football League. NFC West rivalries aside, the Niners would need to conjure something pretty groundbreaking to beat the Rams, but isn’t that what rivalries are all about?
