2. Kupp avoids injury scare, for now

Cheap shot or not, Rams fans assumed the worst when Cooper Kupp was carted off the field during Sunday’s game with a knee injury, and rightfully so when looking at how much pain the wideout appeared to be in. So when Kupp was somehow able to return to action in the second half against Denver, this once again shows just how special of a player Los Angeles has on offense, and the reactions on social media to him somehow returning were quite amazing to read.

Over the first two months of action, one of the most exciting features of the Rams’ offense is this trio of talent they have at receiver consisting of Kupp, Brandin Cooks, and Robert Woods. On any other team, the argument can be made that each of these three players could be viewed as the No. 1 receiver, but seeing them work together on offense for Los Angeles puts them in the best position possible to be a strong Super Bowl contender.

Only time will tell when it comes to how serious the knee injury is for Kupp, but here’s to hoping for the best when he undergoes further testing this week. When looking at the numbers Kupp has been putting up so far, losing him for any sort of extended time would be devastating, especially when seeing how much he benefits from opposing defenders focusing on the whereabouts of Cooks and Woods.
