The Los Angeles Rams are the only undefeated team left in the NFL after a 23-20 win against the Denver Broncos.

When the clock finally struck zero at the once mighty Mile High, the Los Angeles Rams had beaten the Denver Broncos 23-20 to remain a perfect 6-0 on the 2018 NFL season.

The ONLY unbeaten team in the entire league to be factually accurate.

It was also the second of back-to-back games played on the road in tough environments. Don’t forget Week 5 had the Rams playing and winning against the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle, and yesterday in Denver at Broncos Stadium at Mile High.

Elements aside, it’s critical as those two home crowds are two of the most hostile for visiting teams.

At 6-0, everything looks to be in front of the Rams for the taking. With two games to go before the midway point of the season, Los Angeles is in prime position to finish anywhere from 6-2 to 8-0. Games against NFC West rival San Francisco 49ers and the NFC North Green Bay Packers are all that stand in the way of reaching the halfway mark at either of those two records.

Thus far it’s running back Todd Gurley who looks to be poised to repeat as an NFL Honors winner. Gurley has been consistent through six weeks and is making a legitimate run at league MVP.

As for anything that might get in the way of lofty goals?

Well, injuries may catch up with the Rams who managed to avoid that in 2017. On Monday it was learned that receiver Cooper Kupp will miss some time with a sprained MCL suffered in the 23-20 win against the Broncos. As good as LA has been, it might be injuries that are the greatest hurdle head coach Sean McVay faces.

Defense may be the second issue.

dark. Next. Rams-3 grades for their Week 6 win against the Broncos

The should have been vaunted Rams defense has yet to materialize in 2018. However with the type of offense LA can put on the field for every game, a defense that underwhelms may not be a big deal when all is said and done.
