The Packers and Rams promise at least one thing, and that is the potential for a lot of points being scored in Week 8. With the exception of Week 6 against the Denver Broncos, LA has scored at least 30 plus points in each game which could be an issue for Green Bay, who’s defense has allowed opposing offenses to get on the scoreboard often.

Against two common opponents in the Minnesota Vikings and the San Francisco 49ers, the Packers gave up 29 points in a tie game against the Vikings and 30 in a game against the Niners on Monday Night Football.

Expect the Rams to do what they do best and that’s to score points in the bunches. Quarterback Jared Goff, who has had two somewhat pedestrian games against Denver and the Niners, will get back to putting the ball in the air and handing it off to potential MVP Todd Gurley.

Both quarterbacks will shine on Sunday with Goff and Rodgers throwing a lot of passes and racking up a lot of yardage to pad the stat line. Both the Rams defense and the Packers defense will be tested with these two guys under center. For fans who like video game style football, Week 8 between these two teams will be a good watch and a lot of touchdown celebrations.
