2. Dante Fowler Jr.

Back in 2015, the Jacksonville Jaguars had high expectations for Dante Fowler Jr. when they decided to use the third overall pick on the former Florida star, but his NFL journey hasn’t really been smooth sailing when looking at some of the obstacles he’s faced since joining the league. For beginners, Fowler’s rookie campaign got off to the worst possible start when he suffered a torn ACL on Day 1 of mini-camp, meaning the defender couldn’t even suit up during his first season.

During the following two seasons, Fowler did the best to make his presence felt for Jacksonville’s defense with 12 sacks in 32 games, although he only had one start to his name. However, the Jaguars would prefer to see Fowler make more of an impact so far in 2018 since he only has one sack to his name in seven games to go along with just eight combined tackles.

Even more frustrating for the Jaguars, these numbers certainly don’t help Fowler’s trade stock, meaning a team would have no problem in giving up a mid-round pick for a former first rounder if given the opportunity. Plenty of teams are looking to add a pass rusher before the deadline, and when looking at how this Jaguars team could be making some changes, Fowler is a name worth monitoring.
