At 8-1, it’s hard to imagine the Los Angeles Rams playing a must win game, but is Week 10 against the Seattle Seahawks just that?

It’s only Week 10, but after the loss the Los Angeles Rams suffered last week against the New Orleans Saints, the feeling is that LA needs to get back on track with a win while the Seattle Seahawks look to be settling into the role of spoiler for 2018.

Is it over the top hyperbole that the Rams may need this game more than Seattle?

Think for a moment the schedule Los Angeles is in the midst of. Before their bye week to close out November, they will have played and lost to the Saints on the road, will play a tough NFC West rivalry game against the Seahawks at home, then travel to Mexico City for a monster Monday Night Football matchup against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Tell me 1-2 or 0-3 isn’t a possibility before Thanksgiving?

Before long, the Rams will stare down a December where they will be on the road for three of the five week slate of games. Included are back-to-back road games against the NFC North Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears. They also face an unknown in the Philadelphia Eagles at home before a couple of games against division rivals the Arizona Cardinals (in Glendale), and their 2018 finale against the San Francisco 49ers.

The Rams against the Seahawks is no gimmie. With a defense that can be taken advantage of by better quarterback play in the NFL, the offense can’t afford an “off” day. Scoring 30 plus points a game is almost the norm for the Rams. Now it seems an absolute must to be in position for a win.
