The Los Angeles Rams won a tough Week 10 battle against their NFC West rival Seattle Seahawks. The win gives LA a 9-1 record as they head to Mexico City for a Monday Night showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Week 10 brought the ninth win for the Los Angeles Rams as they escaped the Coliseum with a 36-30 win against their NFC West rival Seattle Seahawks. The win sets up a showdown between the best team in the AFC and one of the best in the NFC when LA travels to Mexico City for a Monday night game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Before diving headlong into that contest, a look back at Week 10 highlights what is now a weekly theme with the Rams plus a few new wrinkles. The Rams offense continues to excel and put points on the board while the defense continues to be inconsistent and as of yesterday, terribly undisciplined.

This is a problem going nowhere fast, but so long as head coach Sean McVay has his offense cranking at the current rate, the underachieving on the defensive side of the football can be overcome.

For how long however is another discussion.

For now, the 9-1 Rams remain firmly in control of their fate. With a sweep of the Seahawks, the division is all but decided. Running back Todd Gurley continues on a trek towards a potential MVP, and with six games to go, Los Angeles will soon be positioning for the postseason.

Still, with a defense playing as they did yesterday, undisciplined and unable to stop a lot of mediocre teams, those postseason aspirations will hang in the balance of a team who can score a ton of points and a defense who can give them right back.
