3. Tight ends can become more involved

What was one of the most underrated factors from Sunday’s win over the Seahawks for the Rams? For starters, how about the fact that Goff was able to connect with two of his top tight ends in Tyler Higbee and Gerald Everett for touchdowns, which should make them feel a little better about the situation surrounding Kupp’s injury.

Even though these two tight ends aren’t as consistent in the passing game as some of the other players at their position across the league, keep in mind this is also due to the fact that Los Angeles doesn’t need it from Higbee or Everett as much with all of the other weapons. But now that Kupp has officially been ruled out for the rest of the season, it will be interesting to see if Higbee or Everett (or even both) end up playing larger roles in the passing game moving forward to help take some of the pressure off Goff under center.

Week 10 was the perfect example of how both players can come through if needed on offense, and knowing McVay’s history of working with tight ends, Rams fans wouldn’t be surprised one bit if they did in fact become more involved over the next few games. If not, well at least there’s no reason to worry since Los Angeles is still loaded with plenty of other talent.
