The best match-up in Week 11 is the high scoring offenses of the Los Angeles Rams and the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football.

Week 11 has on its schedule what promises to be the best game of the week, when the 9-1 Los Angeles Rams host the 9-1 Kansas City Chiefs at the Coliseum. Best of all, especially for fans in LA, is that the game is back on their home field versus being at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City.

Win-win for fans, for the Rams and the Chiefs, for ESPN and Monday Night Football, and for the NFL who made what looked to be the best decision for what’s most important, and that’s the integrity of a game of this magnitude.

All that aside, this is a big game for a whole host of other reasons. Even at 9-1, the Rams don’t want to lose anymore ground than they need to as the New Orleans Saints look to be neck-and-neck with Los Angeles. The schedule also has some challenges with back to back trips to NFC North cities, including a Sunday Night game against what is looking like a pretty good Chicago Bears team.

For Kansas City, who also gets a bye after Week 11, will have only two of five games on the road to close out December and the 2018 season, including a big home game in Week 15 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Oh yes, and the top two names in the MVP conversation are front and center with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Rams running back Todd Gurley. Toss in Aaron Donald and Jared Goff, and Monday Night Football looks like the biggest game of the week, something that used to be more common than it is now.
