Fans may not like such a prediction, but given the current state of the Rams generous defense, the conditions will be ripe for Mahomes to have a monster kind of evening with big time MVP numbers. While I also think Gurley is rock-solid, the Kansas City quarterback will produce big against a bad LA pass defense.

Mahomes will be the beneficiary of a trend developing for the Los Angeles Rams. While cornerback Marcus Peters has received votes of confidence in recent weeks from head coach Sean McVay and injured teammate Aqib Talib, he’s become a liability that Chiefs head coach Andy Reid will look to exploit.

Add to that the Week 10 game against the Seattle Seahawks that exposed issues regarding discipline and a lot of self inflicted wounds via the penalty on the defensive side of the football, and a QB as good as Mahomes is likely to have a huge kind of night.

It seems absolutely fitting that given the Monday Night Football game being moved back to Los Angeles, that it would be these two teams each at 9-1, with stars the likes of Mahomes, Goff, Gurley, Donald, and high profile coaches like Reid and McVay, to get the prime-time treatment in a city like LA.
