With the Seattle Seahawks defeating the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, it looks like the Los Angeles Rams won’t be able to clinch the NFC West title in Week 11, which is fine.
After an interesting week consisting of trying to figure out where Monday’s game will actually be played, the Los Angeles Rams only have a few days left to prepare for what should be an epic Week 11 showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Back in the offseason, there was already plenty of hype surrounding this game when seeing how both the Rams and Chiefs were viewed as early Super Bowl contenders in their respected conferences.
Thanks to both teams emerging as two of the best in the NFL heading into Week 11 with 9-1 records, the hype has hit a whole new level in recent weeks this battle between Los Angeles and Kansas City could very well be an early Super Bowl preview.
Of course, the Rams realize the importance of not jumping too far ahead since they know a week against the New Orleans Saints a few weeks ago puts them in a tougher position for the top seed in the NFC playoff picture.
Not to mention, Los Angeles needs to focus on wrapping up the division before even thinking about the No. 1 seed in the NFC since they fully understand the importance of earning a home game come playoff time.
Believe it or not, the Rams actually had a chance to wrap up the NFC West title in Week 11 if they received some help from the Green Bay Packers, who unfortunately lost to the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday.
So instead of having an opportunity to clinch the division with a win on Monday over the Chiefs, it looks like the Rams will have to wait a little longer.

Should Los Angeles be worried? Come on, absolutely not!
If anything, the Rams and their fans should just be thrilled over the fact about how the team finds themselves in this current position already since it’s only the middle of November, and there’s still plenty of football remaining.
Seeing how Los Angeles built a comfortable four-game lead over Seattle prior to Week 11, this shows how it’s only a matter of time before the NFC West officially belongs to them for a second year in a row.
Once that happens, the Rams can focus on their next task in the NFC, which is continuing to win the necessary games while receiving a little extra help to hopefully finish ahead of the Saints in the final standing since they would own the tiebreaker if needed down the road.
