1. Rams-Chiefs point total could be insane

As crazy as it sounds to say, if Monday’s game between the Rams and Chiefs finds a way to top 60 points, football fans wouldn’t be disappointed one bit since this is one of many reasons why there’s so much excitement surrounding this game. In fact, there’s a good chance that once this game between Los Angeles and Kansas City officially comes to an end that those same fans will hope to see these two teams meet again come February in Atlanta during the Super Bowl.

Two teams with 9-1 records squaring off during the regular season doesn’t happen often, and fans in attendance Monday night should be in for quite an epic battle since the Rams and Chiefs both know what’s at stake. While Los Angeles looks to keep things close in the hunt for the top seed in the NFC with the New Orleans Saints, Kansas City will be doing the same, but also looking to increase their lead in the AFC West even more thanks to the Los Angeles Chargers.

With all due respect to both defenses, it’s tough to imagine each unit being able to stop the other offense since there’s reason why the Rams and Chiefs have two of the highest-powered offenses in the NFL. All things considered, if this game does in fact become a shootout, the winner of the game could end up being the team with the final possession, and nobody would be surprised one bit.
