2. Goff, Mahomes are young quarterbacks on rise

Isn’t it amazing to think about how Goff and Mahomes combined for 11 total touchdowns during Monday’s game? After seeing the final score of the game, this really shouldn’t seem all that surprising.

Most importantly, Goff and Mahomes continue to show each week just how bright of a future they each have in the NFL, as the progress these two have already made is kind of crazy to think about. While Goff continues to flourish in McVay’s offense in part to a strong supporting cast, Mahomes is arguably the leading candidate to take home MVP honors when the time comes when seeing how his six touchdown passes from Monday give him 37 on the season with five games to go.

Goff may not be at the same level as Mahomes at the moment, but there’s no question these two are going to be two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL for years to come since there’s no reason to believe otherwise.

If the 2018 season is any indication of what the future holds in Los Angeles and Kansas City with their beloved quarterbacks, these two teams are going to be strong contenders for years to come. And who knows, maybe the Rams and Chiefs will end up being two teams that meet a few times in the Super Bowl over the next couple of years since the talent is going to be there for this to become realistic.
