With Mitch Trubisky dealing with a shoulder injury, it will be interesting to see if the Chicago Bears quarterback will be healthy enough to return by Week 14 when facing the Los Angeles Rams.

Thanks to both teams sitting on top of their respected division, football fans will be fortunate enough to watch the Los Angeles Rams take on the Chicago Bears in the national spotlight a few weeks from now during Week 14.

However, whether the Rams’ defense will be facing Mitch Trubisky is a different story after the Bears quarterback has been dealing with a shoulder injury that prevented him from playing on Thanksgiving in which Chase Daniel filled in to help defeat the Detroit Lions.

As great as Daniel looked in that game, Chicago knows deep down the best chance of this team making a serious run come playoff time will depend on the status of Trubisky’s shoulder.

This season has been filled with plenty of surprise teams making an unexpected impact as serious contenders, and the Bears rank right near the top of the list when seeing how they have a comfortable lead on top of the NFC North at the moment over the Minnesota Vikings.

Of course, just because things are looking great at the moment for Chicago doesn’t mean it’s necessarily going to last since Minnesota will be doing everything in their power to trim that lead down in the next couple of weeks.

Not to mention, the Vikings could even end up receiving some extra help from the Rams if they manage to defeat the Bears during what is expected to be an epic Sunday night matchup come Week 14, whether Trubisky can suit up or not.

For Chicago’s sake, the presence of Trubisky is going to put the team in the best position possible to take down Los Angeles when seeing the amount of points Jared Goff and company are putting up on a weekly basis.

Since it’s still too early to determine Trubisky’s status for that game in a few weeks, the Rams will just have to wait it out like the Bears to see if his shoulder will be healthy enough to go by then.

Knowing Sean McVay and Los Angeles, the team will spend the time preparing to face Trubisky since his injury appeared to be minor, and he still has two weeks to prepare for the matchup. And if that does end up being the case, this will only make things more difficult for the Rams on the road since Chicago in general is never an easy place to play.
