Here are three reasons why the defense of the Los Angeles Rams will get back on track in Week 13 when facing the Detroit Lions.
After a week off following their tough battle with the Kansas City Chiefs, all eyes will be on the Los Angeles Rams in Week 13 to see if they can improve to 11-1 with a win over the Detroit Lions, who have lost four of their last five games. Winning on the road in general is never an easy task, but when seeing how well the Rams have been playing all season, Sean McVay has to love his team’s chances to win this one.
Of course, if that is going to happen, Los Angeles will need to play much better on defense than recent weeks when seeing how the unit hasn’t exactly been able to come through on their end, making it even more impressive to see this team sitting at 10-1. But at least with a favorable meeting against a Lions’ offense that hasn’t exactly been able to live up to the hype on their end either, this seems like the perfect opportunity for the Rams to get back on track from a defensive perspective.
Since opponents already know just how dangerous Los Angeles can be on offense thanks to Jared Goff having plenty of weapons to work with in Todd Gurley and Brandin Cooks, the main difference maker over these final five weeks could be the defense of the Rams. So in honor of their Week 13 meeting with Detroit, here are three reasons why the defense of Los Angeles should be able to bounce back with a strong outing on Sunday.
