Here are three reasons why the Los Angeles Rams will finally clinch the NFC West title during Week 13.

Thanks to some help from the Dallas Cowboys defeating the New Orleans Saints on Thursday, the Los Angeles Rams have officially taken over the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoff picture, although now the goal becomes making sure they hang on to the spot

.

All it takes is a loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday for the Rams fall back to the No. 2 spot, but hopefully this won’t be an issue for Sean McVay‘s team when seeing how the two teams compare on paper.

Back in the offseason, Los Angeles was viewed as one of the top Super Bowl contenders in the NFC, and seeing them sit at 10-1 shows the defending NFC West champions have been able to live up to the hype.

Speaking of the division, the Rams find themselves in another great position to lock up the NFC West title for a second year in a row when seeing how they just need to win against the Lions or receive some help from the Seattle Seahawks with a loss.

Either way, when seeing how Los Angeles has five games remaining with a four-game lead, it’s only a matter of time before the division belongs to them once again since this almost seems like a guarantee to happen. But when taking a few factors into consideration, here are three reasons why the Rams should feel confident in being crowned NFC West champions in Week 13 before focusing on their next task of locking up the No. 1 seed.
