With the Green Bay Packers looking for a new head coach after firing Mike McCarthy, Los Angeles Rams fans shouldn’t be concerned about losing Sean McVay since a trade would never happen.

Back in the 2016 offseason, the Los Angeles Rams knew they were taking a risk by making Sean McVay the youngest head coach in NFL history since there were plenty of other experienced candidates.

As Rams fans quickly learned when seeing how the team just recently clinched their second NFC West title in a row, the risk on McVay has worked out better than anyone ever could have expected.

So when former NFL quarterback recently threw the idea out about how the Green Bay Packers should consider McVay their next head coach, which would obviously have to happen through a trade, Los Angeles fans can only laugh about the suggestion.

Before giving Quinn too much criticism from his comments made during a recent interview, there are numerous reasons why a team like the Packers would welcome a coach like McVay with open starters.

One of the main points Quinn respectfully made was the history behind an organization like Green Bay, and how McVay is an “old-school football guy.” Take this into consideration with McVay’s success throughout his career developing quarterbacks like Kirk Cousins and Jared Goff, one can only imagine how terrifying it would be to see the Rams coach team up with a future Hall of Famer in Aaron Rodgers.

With that being said, when seeing how McVay only seems to be scratching the surface of what is hopefully a stellar career in Los Angeles, there’s no way the organization would ever give him up in a trade.

Even if the Packers were to make some sort of insane offer consisting of first-round picks or a star player, the Rams know McVay is a one of a kid coach who they want to see around for decades if possible, sort of like Bill Belichick with the New England Patriots.

Why on earth would McVay want to go to a team like the Packers to build something special with Rodgers when he already has a better situation with the Rams?

McVay may still be in search of his first Super Bowl with Los Angeles, but with the team sitting on top of the NFC at the moment with an 11-1 record, all signs point to the head coach potentially winning his first one this season.

Even more exciting, when seeing all of the players the Rams have locked up for years to come ranging from Todd Gurley to Aaron Donald, McVay finds himself in a situation where this team could even flirt with the idea of the next potential dynasty.

After taking all of this into consideration, this shows even more why Los Angeles would never consider an idea like this in a million years, and while Quinn makes some great points, all fans can do at this point is laugh over the thought of this being a realistic idea.
