The Los Angeles Rams escaped the snow in their Week 6 game against the Denver Broncos, a game they’d win 23-20 in the Mile High City. But in Week 14, the cold they’ll face in Chicago will be of a different sort,  as the hard hitting defenses will provide some extra punch likely not seen in 2018.

It’s hard to see a big score like the Rams posted against teams like the New Orleans Saints and the Kansas City Chiefs. Week 14 might see LA win or lose a game that turns on a big defensive play. It’ll also be a game where Trubisky will need to make a big play or maybe even two.

Will he?
Can he?

While a player like Mack can and will have a significant impact against the Rams offense, LA has shown they can win a game 54-51 as well as 20-23. That said, if anything could prove a neutralizer for the high powered Los Angeles offense, a cold night with temps in the mid 20’s could be just what a Bears fan would hope for.

A big score isn’t likely this week. The Rams may have to settle for field goals and plays on special teams. While players like Jared Goff and running back Todd Gurley have had a big season, they will be a lesser factor in Chicago.
