3. Brandin Cooks

Back in the offseason, the Rams found themselves in a difficult position when it came to Sammy Watkins since as much as they wanted to use the franchise tag on the wideout, deep down the team knew Lamarcus Joyner was more important.

As great as Watkins was during his only season in Los Angeles, the speedster was replaceable. And when seeing how the Rams would go on to eventually land Brandin Cooks from the New England Patriots, it turns out this all worked out for the best on offense.

Without question, Cooks is a much better receiver than Watkins, as his speed alone makes him an absolute threat each time he gets the football in his hands.

Not to mention, there aren’t as many concerns with Cooks when it comes to his ability to stay healthy, unlike Watkins.

The fact that Los Angeles was willing to lock Cooks up to a multi-year deal before he even suited up for an actual game with the Rams shows just how special of a player he truly is.

Maybe if fantasy football owners are lucky, Cooks will end up with a few big deep plays during these final few weeks to finish the year on a high note for Los Angeles.
