Here are three reactions to the Los Angeles Rams deciding to bring C.J. Anderson on board for the final stretch of the 2018 season.

As the Los Angeles Rams continue to deal with the aftermath of losing their second game in a row to the Philadelphia Eagles, it looks like the NFC West champions have decided to bring a new running back on board in C.J. Anderson.

Without question, the loss of Malcolm Brown was a crushing blow for the Rams after the backup running back suffered a clavicle injury back in Week 13, putting the team in a tough position over the last few weeks.

Todd Gurley has always been the kind of running back who is willing to handle as many carries as possible on a weekly basis, but even the best of stars need a break from time to time, which is why Brown was so great to have around.

Even on special teams, Sean McVay always knew he could count on Brown when needed. And while it was a shame to see his season come to an end sooner than expected, at least the potential with Anderson is certainly there.

After a quick stint with the Oakland Raiders following a release from the Carolina Panthers, Los Angeles will actually be Anderson’s third team for the 2018 season, but as long as he can help the Rams win games, this is all that truly matters for McVay’s squad.
