Here are three reasons why Sean McVay is facing more pressure than ever to get the Los Angeles Rams back on track before it’s too late.

When looking at the favorable matchup they had to work with against the Philadelphia Eagles with all of the injuries the defending champions were dealing with, the Los Angeles Rams seemed to be in for an easy Week 15 win.

Instead, the Rams received another wake-up call in front of a national audience for a second week in a row after falling to the Eagles at home 30-23, meaning the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoff picture just became an even longer shot.

Rightfully so, expectations were high for Los Angeles heading into their second season under Sean McVay after the team found a way to upgrade in the offseason after all of their surprise success from 2017.

From acquiring Brandin Cooks in a trade to signing Ndamukong Suh in free agency, the Rams were clearly a better team from a year ago, but unfortunately the team seems to be in a bit of a slump over the last three weeks.

Blame it on missing Cooper Kupp or simply the defense failing to live up to the hype. No matter what it is, Los Angeles needs to figure out a way to turn things around before January rolls around, or they could be facing an early exit from the playoffs for a second year in a row.
