The Los Angeles Rams hold the second seed on the NFC side of the playoffs slate. Here are four reasons they can win the Super Bowl this year.

The Los Angeles Rams enter the 2018 NFL playoffs with the number two seed and a bye week before they hit the field again. For fans, the ride that has yielded a 13-3 season also provided some questions for a team that went 3-2 in December, including a two game losing streak.

After easily beating two NFC West dogs in the Arizona Cardinals 31-9 and the San Francisco 49ers 48-32 the Rams look to have rebounded, especially with a rejuvenated rushing game courtesy of veteran journeyman C.J. Anderson. The addition of Anderson is huge as it allowed an injured Todd Gurley to get some rest for an ailing knee.

Quarterback Jared Goff, who has clearly been struggling with his game, had two solid outings the last two weeks of the season. While legitimate questions remain about the third year quarterback after their bye week, the acquisition of Anderson looks to have solved a few of those issue.

Still with 13 wins and three losses, the Rams enter the postseason as one of a few reasonable favorites to win it all.

So with December in the rear view mirror, the second season provides an opportunity to build on a year that provided more highs than lows. When fully healthy, Los Angeles is more than capable of running the table and winning two games to get to the Super Bowl. Playing in a better conference like the NFC gives them a chance to do what few saw possible just a few seasons ago, and that’s win a Lombardi Trophy.
