The Los Angeles Rams were convincing winners in the NFC West in 2018. Even with a better than average team in Seattle, the division looks to be safe in LA for at least a few seasons to come.

The NFC West was hardly impressive in 2018. With the Los Angeles Rams running away with the division early on, and having swept the Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals, and San Francisco 49ers by the end of the season, it’s hard to look at 2019 and wonder if it may be a repeat of 2018.

That’s a problem for those three teams, but it certainly is not one for the Rams.

Looking at the West and how all four teams finished, it’s clear that some science is settled and some is not. Without fail, it’s hard to see the Rams sliding backwards and anyone making a dramatic jump to overtake them for division supremacy. That said, unanswered questions in San Francisco regarding quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo would leave any fan to wonder how good the Niners may be next season.

Also, what of the Seahawks who were something of a riddle having spent much of the season hovering at .500 before surging the the fifth seed in the NFC playoff picture?

As for the Cardinals, they are both without a coach and much to look forward to in 2019. While their quarterback position may be solid with Josh Rosen, few else is.

Clearly, fans of the Rams can most likely look forward to their team atop the NFC West for the foreseeable future, especially with a division sporting more questions than answers.
