Here are five things the Los Angeles Rams can watch this weekend during the 2019 Wild Card Round.

Thanks to the Los Angeles Rams winning their final two games to close out the regular season, Sean McVay‘s squad gets the benefit of enjoying an extra week off before getting their playoffs underway next Saturday night during the Divisional Round.

As the No. 2 seed in the NFC, the Rams will officially know Sunday night who their first opponent will be in the playoffs once the game between the Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles is in the books.

At least for Los Angeles, no matter who they end up playing, the team may have the upper hand right away by getting to host the Divisional Round matchup in front of their own fans.

Of course, before jumping too far ahead, the Rams will still be focused on this weekend’s set of games in both conferences since, despite having the round off, what happens could still impact them at some point over the next month.

Having a first-round bye gives Los Angeles a huge advantage from a rest perspective when seeing how Todd Gurley could use all of the extra time off he can get after dealing with a knee injury during the final two weeks.
