Here are four reasons why the battle between the Los Angeles Rams and Dallas Cowboys will be the best matchup from the Divisional Round this weekend.

In a matter of days, the Los Angeles Rams will officially kick off their playoff run by hosting the Dallas Cowboys in the Divisional Round in what is expected to be quite the NFC showdown.

Finishing on top of the NFC West for a second year in a row while earning a first-round bye was quite impressive for a team like the Rams, and seeing Sean McVay find this much success in just his second season has truly been amazing to witness.

However, just because Los Angeles has been successful this season doesn’t mean they should be locked in as a guarantee to win when looking at how Dallas isn’t too far behind them from an impressive standpoint.

Not only did the Cowboys win their second NFC East title in three seasons this season, but Jason Garrett‘s squad is coming off a thrilling 24-22 win over the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card Round, removing all sorts of pressure that had been building up over the last couple of years.

In a way, Los Angeles will be facing similar pressure when they take the football field on Saturday since McVay and Jared Goff are still looking for their first career postseason wins after the Rams were eliminated right away last January when they lost to the Atlanta Falcons.

Either way, Rams fans in general should be in for an entertaining football game when seeing how they compare to the Cowboys on paper, as the case can even be made this will be the best game of the Divisional Round this weekend.
