It won’t be any surprise or any sort of indictment of Los Angeles Rams fan, but the “home field” advantage will be decidedly for the Cowboys.

The Rams, whose home attendance hasn’t always favored them, will likely see a crowd with more Cowboys jerseys and such than Rams gear.

Now in fairness to LA fan, it’s not a shocker. Dallas has a monstrous fan base that is more than national but also global. It’s a franchise like no other in that any NFL city they play in outside of Big-D, will have the fan base show up and represent.

Is that such a big deal?
For the Rams faithful, absolutely.

Still, three years into being back home in Los Angeles, selling out the cavernous Coliseum with an overwhelming number of Rams partisans is something of a tough job. As a matter of fact, that was the knock on the city when the NFL was entertaining any number of teams who were mentioned as a tenant for the LA market.

Saturday night, a playoff Saturday night no less, won’t necessarily be a litmus test for the Los Angeles home base. That said, if the crowd is decidedly and significantly a Cowboys crowd, it’ll catch the attention of those who have said LA isn’t a big home field advantage for any team, the Rams included.
