Here are three takeaways from the Los Angeles Rams 30-22 win over the Dallas Cowboys in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.
With an extra week to prepare, the Los Angeles Rams were hoping to see different results in the playoffs this time around when hosting the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday during the Divisional Round.
It ended up being closer at the end than expected, but at the end of the day, the Rams were able to hang on for the thrilling 30-22 win over the Cowboys to punch their ticket to the NFC Championship game next Sunday.
As for who the Rams will face, well they will either host the Philadelphia Eagles or travel down south to take on the New Orleans Saints, depending on what the results are of Sunday’s game between the two NFC teams.
No matter what, either matchup will be considered a revenge game for Los Angeles when seeing how they lost both games to each team during the regular season.
Then again, when seeing some of the doubts surrounding the Rams throughout December, all they care about is being in the NFC Championship since this means one more win, and it’s a trip to Atlanta for the Super Bowl.
When looking at the expectations surrounding this team in the offseason, this is exactly where Los Angeles wanted to be in January, and watching them defeat Dallas the way they did shows a Super Bowl run could very well happen.
Once again, Los Angeles left fans with plenty to discuss from Saturday’s win over Dallas, so let’s take a look at some key takeaways in honor of the big Divisional Round win.
