2. Starting off game on better note

Losing to the Saints 45-35 was a tough pill to swallow for the Rams at the time during the regular season when seeing how this happened to be their first loss of 2018.

But without question, one of the most frustrating factors from this one was seeing how different things could have been for Los Angeles if they didn’t get off to such a poor start.

Despite keeping pace with the Saints at the beginning of the game, things quickly fell apart for the Rams in the second quarter when seeing how they were trailing 35-14 at one point. And while Los Angeles was able to eventually fight their way back into the contest by tying things up in the second half, New Orleans would end up scoring the final 10 points of the game, which turned out to be the difference maker.

One can only imagine how different the outcome of this game could have been for the Rams if they didn’t allow the Saints to put up 35 points in the first half, but at least this can be viewed as a learning experience.

Maybe if these two happen to meet in the NFC Championship, Los Angeles will find a way to play better over the first two quarters instead of falling way behind early on.
