Here are 10 key moves made over the last two years by the Los Angeles Rams to help the team earn a trip to Super Bowl 53 to face the New England Patriots.

Isn’t it amazing how much of a difference two years can be for a team like the Los Angeles Rams?

Back in 2017, the Rams were coming off a horrendous four-win season in which they were viewed by many as one of biggest laughing stocks in the NFL, especially with them ranking at the bottom of the league by only averaging 14 points per game.

Since then, Los Angeles has emerged as one of the top teams to beat in the NFL after winning back-to-back NFC West titles along with recently earning a trip to Super Bowl 53 in what will be a tough battle against the New England Patriots.

Originally, the plan for the Rams seemed to be that Sean McVay would need at least a year or two before the team could even be part of the contender conversation after looking at the mess he inherited from the Jeff Fisher days.

Instead, McVay hit the ground running with Los Angeles, and watching the team earn a trip to the Super Bowl this quickly shows just how special of a group the Rams coach has, as this team looks built to contend for years to come.

Never in a million years could anyone have imagined that Los Angeles of all teams would be in this kind of position around this time two years ago, but McVay and Les Snead deserve all of the credit in the world for the work put in to get this group together.
