3 reasons Los Angeles Rams could blowout New England Patriots in Super Bowl 53

1. Goff is loaded with talent to work with on offense
Without question, it was completely unfair for Jared Goff to receive any criticism from his rookie campaign in 2016 when the former California star went 0-7 as a starter, mainly because his offensive line and receiving corps were absolute jokes to work with.
Once McVay was hired as the new head coach in the offseason, he immediately made it a priority to build a better offense around Goff, which has worked wonders over the last two seasons.
Goff was already fortunate enough to have a reliable running back in Todd Gurley, who has become a touchdown machine over the last two years with 40 total trips into the end zone. But when looking at how Los Angeles boosted the offensive line in 2017 by signing Andrew Whitworth along with establishing a trio of receivers this year led by Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods, Goff has been in a completely different situation than his rookie campaign.
The fact that Los Angeles is playing in the Super Bowl when taking into consideration Goff has only thrown one touchdown pass in two playoff games is just one of many examples of how talented this offense truly is.
Even when Gurley was hurting towards the end of the regular season, the Rams found a surprise gem in C.J. Anderson after watching him record three 100-yard rushing games in a row along with leading the ground game in the NFC Championship to give Goff one more weapon to work with.
Most quarterbacks around the league would do anything to be part of this kind of offense Goff has to work with, and the scariest factor of all is most of these talented players will be under contract for years to come.
Never in a million years did anyone think Goff would be in this position of being one win away from a Super Bowl title this year in his career, and there’s every reason to believe he’s going to take full advantage of the opportunity when facing the Patriots.

When looking at all of the talent Goff has to work with in the backfield and passing game, don’t be surprised if the former No. 1 pick comes out firing against New England to help establish an early lead while taking some pressure off Los Angeles on offense.
