1. White is more dangerous as a wide receiver

There aren’t many running backs in the NFL who could fall into the category of being more dangerous as a receiver, but this is the perfect way to describe White after looking at the impact he’s made on offense for the Patriots throughout his career.

In fact, some New England fans will still make the case that White should have taken home MVP honors in the Super Bowl two years ago over Brady, but that’s a different story for another day.

Heading into Sunday’s game, one of the things the Patriots will be looking to take advantage of against the Rams is the way Alvin Kamara was able to torch the defense as a receiver during the NFC Championship.

During that game, the second-year running back managed to catch 11 passes in the loss to the Rams, and if Kamara can pull this off, there’s every reason to believe White can do the same.

White catching 15 passes like he did in the Divisional Round against the Chargers may be a bit of a stretch, but if he happened to hit the double-digit mark in receptions, this really wouldn’t seem like a surprise at all since this is one of the weaker areas for the Rams.
