2. Can Rams continue to stop the run?

During the regular season, it was quite surprising to see the Rams struggle to stop the run the way they did on defense after looking at all of the great players the unit has to work with. But at least once the playoffs got underway, Los Angeles figured out a way to make the necessary adjustments.

Between holding Ezekiel Elliott to just 47 rushing yards to finding a way to limit Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram to combine for just 46 rushing yards, it’s been quite an amazing postseason for the Rams on defense when it comes to stopping the run.

As for whether this success will continue in the Super Bowl when facing the Patriots, well let’s just say all of the threat they have to work with will be a major challenge.

While James White has proven to be most effective as a receiver, Sony Michel has turned out to be an unexpected surprise, as the rookie already has five touchdown passes this postseason.

In order for Los Angeles to have a better chance of knocking off New England, their ability to stop the run will be key once again. Otherwise, it could be a long game for the Rams on the defensive side of the football if they end up seeing the same issues from the regular season.
