As painful as losing to the New England Patriots was, here are three reasons to believe the Los Angeles Rams will bounce back to compete for Super Bowl 54 next season.

Losing in general is never easy to deal with, and as bad as the Los Angeles Rams are feeling at the moment following Sunday’s embarrassing 13-3 loss to the New England Patriots during Super Bowl 53, there is hope moving forward.

First off, look at where the Rams were two years ago when they were coming off a four-win season before hiring Sean McVay, and watching them earn a trip to the Super Bowl in such a short period of time is truly amazing to think about.

Back when McVay came on board, the original plan seemed to be that Los Angeles would need at least one or two years to adjust to playing in his system, which hasn’t been the case one bit since the team hit the ground running right away.

Coming up short against the Patriots after the defense did their part by limiting Tom Brady and company to scoring just 13 points while the offense couldn’t even manage a single touchdown says a lot about the kind of Super Bowl this was for the Rams.

Time will hopefully heal his devastating loss for Los Angeles, and while it sounds ridiculous to look all the way ahead to what next season could have in store, the Rams already deserve to be in the conversation of starting off the year as a heavy Super Bowl contender once again.
