6. C.J. Anderson

Hands down, the best decision Los Angeles made towards the end of the regular season when Todd Gurley was dealing with a minor knee injury was signing C.J. Anderson as insurance after watching the impact made by the veteran right away.

From rushing for 100+ yards three games in a row to handling a majority of the carries in the NFC Championship when Gurley had an off day, there’s no way the Rams would have been in the Super Bowl if Anderson wasn’t part of the picture.

Of course, Los Angeles now faces an interesting decision moving forward to see if it would be worth bringing Anderson back again, especially since whatever is going on with Gurley seems to be a mystery at this point.

Also, as great as it would be to convince Anderson to return, the Rams will most likely have to worry about competing with other teams looking to sign the veteran since other teams may be willing to offer more money after seeing how effective he can still be in the ground game.

Gurley has always been viewed as a workhorse, and while Malcolm Brown has been great filling in at times, he’s certainly no Anderson, and the numbers will prove that.
