Top 8 players Los Angeles Rams could potentially re-sign during 2019 free agency

5. Dante Fowler
Leading up to the trade deadline, the Rams knew they had nothing to lose by acquiring Dante Fowler from the Jacksonville Jaguars since the move had the chance to be a low risk with a high reward.
Giving up a few mid-round picks for a former first-round pick who seemed like he just needed a fresh start was basically a no brainer for Los Angeles, and after watching Fowler waste little time making an impact, it made the trade even more of a steal.
After combining for just nine tackles and two sacks during seven games with the Jaguars before the trade, Fowler would go on to start six of eight games during the remainder of the regular season for the Rams.
To top it off, Fowler made his presence felt in each of the playoffs along with the Super Bowl, making it seem like Los Angeles would love to have him back for another year.
If that were to happen, the one positive factor worth considering is how Fowler would have the opportunity to spend an entire offseason working with his teammates and coaching staff on the Rams instead of playing from behind.
Keep in mind Fowler was a first-round pick back in 2015 for a reason, and if the last few months are any indication of what potential could be in store, this could be huge for Los Angeles.
