3. Can Goff learn from experience?

First off, the thought of some Rams fans wanting to give up on Jared Goff for the poor performance displayed in the Super Bowl is absolutely ridiculous since he is only 24-years-old, and was playing in his first Super Bowl.

Plus, as mentioned before, instead of placing a ton of blame on Goff, the credit deserves to go to the Patriots to make the necessary adjustments and game plan to make sure it was a long night for the Los Angeles quarterback.

Some fans will point out the fact that Goff only tossed one touchdown pass in three postseason games this year, but also keep in mind that a strong supporting cast in the backfield meant that Los Angeles didn’t need to put up as many points through the air.

With that being said, just because Goff is receiving some benefit of the doubt due to New England’s defense doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be off the hook once the 2019 season gets underway.

If anything, Goff will be facing additional pressure once Week 1 rolls around to prove that he is in fact the answer for this team under center, although his overall numbers from the previous two seasons make it seem like there really are no reasons for concern.
