1. No one really knows what is going on with Gurley

What on earth is going on with Gurley? Despite Rams fans having plenty of time to get over the fact that Los Angeles failed to score a single touchdown against New England in Super Bowl 53, the frustration surrounding Gurley’s lack of touches is still pretty high on the frustration scale.

It was one thing for Gurley to only see four carries for 10 yards and a touchdown in the NFC Championship, but following it up with only 10 touches for 35 yards in the Super Bowl was completely unacceptable.

Rams fans would be completely understanding if Gurley’s knee were acting up again since it’s never easy to play through that kind of pain, but the team continuing to deny there was anything wrong with the knee makes this situation even more difficult to figure out.

Until fans receive some sort of answers from the organization that actually make sense, Gurley is going to continue being one of the biggest mysteries surrounding the team heading into 2019, which could make Anderson even more valuable if he were to return.

Gurley may have plenty of time to recover between now and the start of next season, but as another safety precaution since no one really seems to know what exactly is going on, this could make a strong case for Anderson to return just to be safe.
