Los Angeles Rams: 7-Round 2019 mock draft version 1.0
By Dan Parzych
It’s time to have a little fun with the first version of a Los Angeles Rams 7-round mock draft to help make another run during the 2019 season.
The month of February is always filled with 7-round mock drafts to provide football fans with an idea of what to expect from their beloved teams come spring time, and for the Los Angeles Rams, it’s not different.
Coming up short to the New England Patriots during Super Bowl 53 left the NFC champions with all sorts of frustration since the talent seemed to be there all season for the Rams before they failed to score a single touchdown on the NFL’s biggest stage.
Depending on what happens over the next month or so, the good news for Los Angeles is when it comes to offense, the only area that could use some improvement during the draft is the offensive line.
Between the possibility of Andrew Whitworth retiring along with Rodger Saffold‘s future with the team up in the air at the moment, the offensive line seems to have more questions than answers at the moment, which means the draft could be perfect.
Since the Rams appear to be set with most of the other positions on offense, chances are this year’s draft is going to be focused on improving the defensive side of the football, whether it happens to be at linebacker or simply adding another defensive tackle.
The good news for Los Angeles is there is still plenty of time between now and the draft for Sean McVay‘s staff to evaluate the necessary talent to see which players deserve consideration to come on board as rookies in April.
In what will be the first of many, here is the first version of a 7-round mock draft in regards to the Rams.
