2. Eric Rowe

Expectations were high for Eric Rowe when the Philadelphia Eagles decided to use a second-round pick on the Utah product back in 2015, but watching the team trade him to the Patriots right before the start of his second season shows how interesting his NFL career has been.

On a positive note, at least Rowe will enter free agency as a two-time Super Bowl champion, as the cornerback has been fortunate enough to be part of New England’s success over the last couple of years, which could come in handy for his next home.

Postseason experience is always key for teams looking to bring new players on the roster, and while cornerback isn’t necessary a top need for the Rams at the moment, it never hurts to add some extra depth.

Despite both Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib being under contract at the moment, plenty could change this offseason if Los Angeles decides they want to save a little money while taking a different approach.

Also, let’s not forget that Rowe did begin the 2018 season as the starter before eventually dealing with a groin injury that would limit the cornerback to appearing in just four games, meaning the potential is there with the right coaching.
