17. Cleveland Browns: Devin White, Linebacker, LSU

That’s right, after all those years spent being one of the biggest laughing stocks in the NFL, the Cleveland Browns finally appear to have a bright future when looking at the bright future this team seems to have with Baker Mayfield running the offense.

Even though it was frustrating to watch the Browns go through all those failed quarterbacks over the years, this all seems worth it now since it led to landing Mayfield, as one can only imagine what the former Oklahoma star’s sophomore campaign is going to be like.

Of course, a quarterback like Mayfield can only do so much on his own without the proper support from the defensive side of the football, which Cleveland should also be excited about after watching how great the unit looked at times throughout the 2018 season.

With the No. 17 pick, the Browns have a few different areas they could focus on to give them a better chance of living up to the hype since expectations will be higher than ever next season, but the linebacker position may stand out the most.

Tackling may be an issue for Devin White based off some of his game film from the last couple of seasons at LSU, but at least he makes up for it in other areas, such as speed or plowing his way through opponents.
