5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Greedy Williams, Cornerback, LSU

Moving on from Dirk Koetter was a decision that seemed long overdue for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers since this was arguably a team with plenty of talent to work with, only to come up short each time over the last few seasons.

Luckily for the Buccaneers, Bruce Arians is experienced enough to help this team get back on the right track, and while the new head coach is mostly known for his work on the offensive side of the football, fixing the defense will be a top priority as well.

In a way, Tampa Bay should feel confident in Arians being able to accomplish this goal since his previous coaching experience is on a whole other level compared to Koetter.

Plus, with this early of a pick in the first round, the Buccaneers will be in position to take advantage of landing a top defender right away, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if LSU’s Greedy Williams drew serious consideration.

Williams has the set of skills, and speed that any head coach would love to work with, as he may even end up as the top cornerback from this year’s draft class, which would make this selection even better for Tampa Bay if they were to take this approach.
