It looks like the Los Angeles Rams will have a favorable path to reaching Super Bowl 54 with one of the easiest schedules for the 2019 season.

When taking into consideration the Los Angeles Rams are coming off a Super Bowl appearance, one would assume their path to earning another trip to the big game would be a little more difficult in 2019.

Turns out, the Rams caught a break by earning one of the easiest schedules in the league for the 2019 season to the point where it’s tough not to get excited over the possibility of Sean McVay‘s having another opportunity to hoist the Lombardi Trophy.

While the Oakland Raiders have it rough following a four-win season by earning the toughest schedule in the league, Los Angeles is tied with four other teams, including the New England Patriots, for the 27th toughest schedule, which actually means they have it pretty easy.

Just to refresh football fans, the strength of schedule is determined by combining the 2018 record for all opponents along with combining their winning percentage.

Along with facing each of their division opponents twice, the Rams are scheduled to face the AFC North and NFC South along with the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys since they each won their respected divisions.

All things considered, Los Angeles really doesn’t have any reason to complain since they couldn’t have asked for a better deal, although nothing is guaranteed when it comes to the NFL.

As great as it is to land a favorable schedule, the Rams still need to prove they have what it takes to be a top contender in the NFC since once again, they’re going to be dealing with a whole new level of pressure.

It was one thing to watch Los Angeles live up to the hype the way they did this pas season, but now the team will be forced to overcome the aftermath from failing to score a single touchdown in Super Bowl 53 during their loss to New England.

Not even the excuse of the Patriots’ defense stepping up when needed the most can be used as a valid reason for the Rams since they should have been able to score at least a touchdown or two with all of the weapons Jared Goff has to work with.

Time will tell when it comes to determining if Los Angeles has what it takes to earn another trip to the Super Bowl, but at least by having one of the easier schedules in the NFL, their path to reaching the playoffs for a third year in a row seems likely.
