3 potential free agent targets for Los Angeles Rams from Kansas City Chiefs in 2019
By Dan Parzych
Here are three free agents for the Los Angeles Rams to consider from the Kansas City Chiefs to help compete for the 2019 season.
Even though the Los Angeles Rams and Kansas City Chiefs failed to meet in Super Bowl 53 like some football fans wanted after a thrilling meeting between the two parties during the regular season, there’s always the chance of this taking place next season.
While the Rams look to continue to thrive under Sean McVay with their high-powered offense, one can only imagine what 2019 is going to be like for Patrick Mahomes II after taking home MVP honors during his first full season as the starter for the Chiefs.
With that being said, just because Los Angeles and Kansas City turned out to be two of the top contenders in the NFL last season doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed to happen again, as these next few weeks will be extremely important for both teams from an improvement perspective.
That’s where the upcoming free agency period comes into play since both the Rams and Chiefs each have a few areas in need of improvement. Believe it or not, Kansas City actually has a few players on their current roster expected to hit the open market who could help fill some of those needs for Los Angeles, and vice versa.
Who do these players happen to me? Well, to have a little fun to help fans prepare for free agency once it gets underway in March, here are three current players the Rams should strongly consider targeting from the Chiefs to help their chances of earning another trip to the Super Bowl in Miami.
