2. Jeff Allen

Jeff Allen is another perfect example of how just because things fail to work out the first time with a given team doesn’t necessarily mean it’s impossible for it to happen again since the guard just wrapped up his second stint with the Chiefs.

Back in 2012, expectations surrounding Allen were high after Kansas City decided to use a second-round pick on him following an impressive career at Illinois. And while this appeared to be the case at first after Allen started 27 of the 31 games he appeared in over his first two seasons, fate would eventually lead him to signing with the Houston Texans once 2016 rolled around.

Unfortunately, a handful of injuries resulted in Allen eventually reaching an injury settlement with the Texans in 2018 before the team released him, a move that led to him joining the Chiefs for a second time.

All things considered, Allen has proven that previous issues shouldn’t be considered an issue, and the experience gained over the years could provide some depth to the Rams with the offensive line while competing for significant playing time.

This may sound like a lot for Los Angeles to consider, but if Allen were to find a way to make a surprise impact, this is all they would really care about the most.
