1. Landon Collins

Will the Giants end up using the franchise tag on Landon Collins? The Pro Bowl safety may not prefer playing the 2019 season under the tag since Collins has made a strong case to earn a hefty contract, but the good news is it seems like only a matter of time before a deal like that does happen.

The only question is whether the hefty deal would come from New York or another team if Collins manages to avoid the tag so he can explore all possible options since plenty of teams would love to add him as part of their defense.

After earning Pro Bowl honors three seasons in a row, nobody is questioning Collins when it comes to believing he deserves a major pay raise. And if there does end up being some sort disagreement between the two parties that results in Collins hitting the open market, the Rams may take their approach from last season by considering any player who can help pull off a Super Bowl run.

Los Angeles knows that Collins obviously wouldn’t be cheap, and this would most likely mean some of their potential candidates to re-sign on the roster would most likely be out of the picture, but if it was worth it, then fans would be alright with the decisions.
